I took some pictures (Essex, Nema, and Vista) today while sitting in traffic so the quality is not great (especially the light pole in front of Essex) but at least it gives you an idea of progress as of today (7/31).

Also I know it is easy for us to be hyper-critical on here but if you haven't seen these buildings in person and you're in the area I highly suggest checking them out. Pictures can't do any of them justice. Especially Vista, it is an absolute monster already.

Lastly I unfortunately didn't get a chance to snap a picture but Paragon looks incredible. I'm really digging this hybrid window wall they've been using (Paragon, Essex, 727 W. Madison). I'll try to stop the car and grab a few pics the next time I'm down there.

P.S. Traffic was at a stand still when all of these pictures were taken.

Nice shots - infinitely better than no shots.

Hadn't seen the top of Essex like that yet - not sure I like it.

As someone who uses a 13 floor garage on a daily basis, it's really not that bad. A bit nauseating if you focus too much on the turn after turn, but no more than a minute or two. I'll be happy for the day when garages aren't necessary though

Great shots as always. I'm impressed Hoxton is real brick all the way up. We'll see how it looks when it's done but I'm a much bigger fan of the brick color scheme of 210 N Carpenter. It is also crazy to see how fast all of the West Loop projects flew up once the weather turned.

same. i think they did an awesome job on 210. brickwork looks very quality to my eyes. the only thing i dont love is the awkward glass pop top, but i guess thats just going to be a thing these days.

That hotel is probably watching the Lolla crowds go by wishing it was finished in time.

Thanks for all the great updates SolarWind!

For all the seeming delays on this project it turned out really nice IMO. The way it meets the adjoining buildings flush creates a nice congruous street wall to the corner. The glass looks fine.
