Good picture - this will easily be one of the most urban city blocks in the entire province.

I wish Saint John would start growing as it has a great foundation upon which to build a top notch city centre.

The Uptown is already growing and its growth will likely continue judging by the projects coming online.

Irving Tower Facade

I'm really liking the new Irving Tower facade. Looks very impressive up close.

I haven't seen it in a few weeks but the side facing Charlotte Street looks even more impressive - with the 11 story tall glass wall section. That will let in a lot of morning sun!

I took a couple shots of the HQ this weekend, one showing the glass face... Going to be a nice looking building when it's done.

Looks like they are in final steps of construction. Sandstone looks to be 90% complete, the scaffolding is coming down, trees are being planted (at least on Charlotte St), brick pavers are being placed, granite curbing installed, parking lot was paved along with Sydney St section ripped up, furniture being installed, entrances coming together, and landscaping areas are framed with granite. This building took a long time to build and the quality put into it is incredible and expensive. It’s not like any other modern building that goes up in 1/2 the time.

Has all the scaffolding come off the building now?

Imagine being excited to be allocated an office with a window, only to find its view is the stucco wall of the Imperial Theatre 15 feet away.

Not quite, here are a couple photos from today. (I still can't figure out why using the link button won't allow me to inline these photos)

Notice the atrium like side with staircase on right hand side. Unique for an office building.
