It's a good scale.

Now I'm waiting to see what gets slapped up on the exterior.

It looks like the façade is going on the building. There are dark and light gray panels so far.

The paneling is a disgusting stucco blue and gray colour which is tacky at best. It definitely won't blend in with the rest of the buildings in the core. If the rest of the building resembles that one floor so far I'll flip.

Sorry but I personally don't want it to match the rest of the buildings in the core seeing as just about all of them are garbage.

I love this Forum most complain theie is no development, then we get it and its oh its too ugly, its build by so and so and on and on

Don't get me wrong I want lots of nice things to be built, but you also have think geeze at least this is not a parking lot anymore.

Drove by this afternoon. Panels look ok to me.

There are very few up. Too early to tell how the whole building will look once completely clad.

The cladding looks good. It's not stucco. Black and gray, modern colours. Looks granite.

I am very optimistic about this hotel, but the parking lots in that photo depress me.

To me it looks more like a stucco type panel, and not granite at all.

Looks good so far.

As usual, not nearly as much glass as the rendering and the final cladding is a grey/blue stucco panel job. How inspiring.

It isn't stucco. It is some kind of stone panels and they are dark grey and light grey. They look pretty decent close up.

I dunno, I stood right beside the building and don't think they look like stone panels at all.

They do look like a stucco type panel to me, but not the typical "plaster-like" stucco.

I think they look pretty good.

The windows strike me as really tiny, but all in all it's not too bad looking and much better than a parking lot. It's good to see something actually happening here after years of what looked like parking lot permanence.

I wonder if something will be built on the site of that parking lot, corner of Bay and King. It's asking for it now.
