has anyone noticed this before? i'm watching batman for the first time in at least 15yrs, & here's something I noticed when vicki & alex are trying to figure out if the batman sightings fit some sort of pattern axis is in the west end... seems like a funny place for a chemical plant. & in this pic she's pointing to the locations of a couple sightings, in the sfu neighbourhood. alex says he'll take her out to dinner "and then they'll walk the trail"
This made local headlines back when the movie came out. I saw the movie on opening night & I already knew enough to look for the Vancouver map while I was watching it.
That was clever; they turned the map counter-clockwise 90 degrees, so that Vancouver/Burnaby kind of look like Manhattan, with Burrard Inlet and the Fraser River acting the part of the Hudson and East Rivers, respectively.
I've always thought some of Merrick's architecture had a bit of a Gotham city look to it.
