We want get a real good coach. If he had an experienced. He will help to win a game. It's extremely importance. We cannot afford to lose the games. They must win a game everyday. They have play hard. Focus the games. There will be no more mistakes.

Like Matt Barnes tweeted. Paraphrased. "Sarver, why don't you do the great fans of the Phoenix Suns a solid and sell the team to someone who knows what they are doing."
That my friends says it all!

Suns beat writer says Suns are building practice facility at 44th/Camelback. Haven't seen precise location yet.

Haha, that's the one corner where I hoped it wouldn't go! I love that bad boy in all it's glorious, beautiful hideousness.

Dammit, that Chase Bank lives.

Facility is going just north of Camelback on 44th.

Do you know exactly where, and what they are demo'ing to make room?

EDIT: My guess would be part or all of the area where the Camel Square business park is there on the NWC. Can't do it on the other side of the street because Steak 44 is Devin Booker's favorite restaurant, haha.

Are you seriously calling for the demolition of the mushroom bank, or is that a sarcastic reference to the Suns' previous demolition of historic buildings to allow more premium parking near the arena downtown?

I'll ask around, may know someone involved but not sure. I think there are only two options here 1. built over existing parking lot in Camel Square or 2. behind AJ's at the expense of the Wells Fargo and that adjacent parking lot. I think option 1 is the most likely as there's plenty of room without demoing any existing structure. The B of A is corporate owned so I don't expect that to go anywhere - I assume the comment about tearing down Chase was a mistake and actually a reference to the B of A.

Lol that's one of the coolest mid-century buildings in the state. Sarver would officially not be safe in PHX if he knocked that down.

44th & Camelback could really help draw free agents as most would live within a 10 minute drive.

I don't remember hearing anything about the renovation schedule - looks they won't need to play elsewhere as they'll renovate during the next two offseasons:

"Even though the Suns and the city have put out RFQs for the remodeling of Talking Stick Resort Arena, the new practice facility probably will be the only project to start construction this summer. Most of 2019 will be devoted to designing and planning the remodel. Construction on the arena remodel will take place during the Suns' offseason in 2020 and 2021, Suns President and CEO Jason Rowley told the Business Journal earlier this year."

When we first moved to Phoenix, my uncle (an Architect) made it a point to show us the bank first as he took us on a tour of the Arcadia area. That was years ago. It's a great property.

Article on Phoenix Business Journal had a little bit of info on the exact location of the facility.

Quote:
The Suns will be taking over a building on the west side of 44th Street in the Camel Square office complex, directly across the street from Steak 44.

Would that be for additional office space? The practice facility obviously needs to be built - I think the best guess is where Biggus suggested.

No idea if this is at all legitimate, but someone on reddit found this funky Dbacks stadium concept

^ What the hell. The renderings don't match each other, but they're all terrible.

Out of state architect can't design for local climate, diamondbacks move to it anyways, no fans show up to their moronic, boring location on what looks like the north side or interior of the Pima Maricopa rez, leave for another state, AZ gets two white elephant stadiums.

If someone wanted to blow $500 million I could come up with better ideas.
