Thanks, innov8. The Test Section is another thing I didn't know about. Sorry to take up bandwidth here. If you can see a pic in the post before this one then hopefully I'm through testing for now.

Yep, I see it now too. Nice shot, that's a familiar sight for me, I live near there. That Home Base (the building in the picture) has been vacant for what seems like almost 10 years now...

If scenario A is choosen, 4,134 parking spaces will be provided. If scenario B
is choosen, there will be 5,389 spaces. The draft EIR mentions several parking
garages and even some under ground parking. I would think after looking at
the graphic, the parking garages would be the gray boxes or areas next to
the other buildings. The report says, 'garages would be exposed to view but
would have architectural finishes and design treatment'. Will have to see
what that means.

Sounds very promising, especially for an area with such a... *ahem* colorful past...

Thanks for the parking numbers. The gray boxes all seem to be well concealed inside. All the buildings seem to face the street. the parks seem well placed and proportioned. i like it.

I'm not too familiar with the "colorful" past mentioned, but it seems a very industrious area. will there be any environmental clean up required before they can begin construction?

Also, what's the time-frame on that light rail station? wouldn't the tracks have to be built throught the railyards before they could reach Township 9? I would think the light rail station would be a HUGE selling point for both the residential and office portions of this project. So I'd think the developers would want RT to get there ASAP.

I wouldn't be so much worried about the environmental cleanup as I would be the cleanup of condoms and lube packets! Don't ask how I know about this!

Anyway, it's a great development in an area that REALLY needs it!

Hopefully, by that point it will be car cruising they're worried about! What a different world I live in now!...and what a good thing it is!

Well, alrighty then! Just be careful! I had a gun pulled on me one time there in the middle of something that shouldn't ever involve guns. Besides that, BE CAREFUL!....you know what I mean!...as for the ice breakers, I'm sure that's not what you're there for. So, those are quickly forgotten!

What was Aura's deadline for having the land purchases from Taylor? Was it the end of march or the middle?

Let's take this to PM. I don't think anyone else wants to hear about the cruise park.
