Yep I should have parked my money elsewhere such as Kensington.

As an investor I would want more of an explanation of why the delay rather than the generic we are sorry but we are going to delay the project.

To me it sounds like they're going to be phasing it.

vaporware. Wouldn't doubt someone else will build on that site because it's too much prime real-estate to stay as a janky parking lot. I was so close to putting down a deposit on this place, glad I didn't.

That's what we've been hearing too. All the construction hoarding is gone, and it is back to being a packing lot. Word is that Shaw backed out of it.....not sure why, but my own personal hope is that they saw Telus Sky and decided to go back to the drawing board

Time will tell, but is Shaw has indeed pulled out, then this one is pretty much DOA.

On the flip side, Shaw should be looking at doing something at least competitive to Telus Sky.

I doubt that Shaw is back at the drawing board as yesterday they announced lay-offs. I think this is a sinking ship!

That would be more likely the case. I think shareholders are already edgy about all the big bonuses that have been handed out.

I think most people already know that this one is not going anywhere fast. This tweet from @ian_meredith on twitter probably confirms everyone's suspicions

Still say I'd like to see a single 55-60 story mixed-use tower on that spot..... Providing the shadow police don't mind!

Should have mentioned that Shaw pulled out so maybe they're on the hook for some expenses and breaking a lease.... for whatever it's worth!

This was my favorite high rise design on here. Very disappointed to hear it going down in flames. That was an amazing design.
