nice work Priller - as always! The renderings seem to show that the views from 360 are not going to get hit as bad as some thought they might. Looks like just a few partial views will get blocked, but the nearby buildings will be a nice addition to their skyline.

Wow... check out the West Side Market in Cleveland at the link above. Scroll down toward the end to see pics.

Would be great to see something like this or Seattle's famous market with a combo of local growers and retailers at Seaholm.
West Side market is really cool.... and the real deal! Was built as a market. It is actually in "Ohio City" which is a neighborhood just north of the river. Great little area! The other thing to look at are the pics of "Shaker Heights". It was a 1920's "suburb" with commuter train built in! Still in operation.... and well used.

So I heard through the grapevine that they are finally in the process of shutting this place down! How exciting is this development going to be?! I know there was something some where on the forum about this development but I can't seem to find it. Anyone have any new information about the development?

I was downtown today and just happened to drive by Green. They've just recently demolished the water tower. It was a bit of a surprise seeing it laying there. This water tower was 83 feet tall.

Has anything changed on the development front from the original proposals? Still going full steam ahead with the 2 condos, hotel and office space?

Green proposal (with renderings) - and they're using one of priller's photos.

Looks like the 360 condos views towards the south and west are not blocked. I wonder how many times the rendering will change before they get started.

as far as i know nothing has changed w/ the plans for the green water treatment plant plans/proposals. i doubt they'd start construction on the highrises as early as originally planned though. i think kevin only posted bercy chen's proposal for the site because they used priller's picture. they weren't even finalists. again, here's a link to trammell crow's renderings for this development:

if trammell crow sticks with their proposal, 360's south and west views will be largely obstructed. but, we'll have to wait and see.

Well that is life, people should know when they buy a condo in a downtown area that any views could be blocked by other buildings. I personally would love to be in a condo and look out over other buildings. Makes living in a condo much more urban.

yep, just part of dt living. i, too, would rather live amongst many other buildings to look at. anyway, here's a link to trammell crow's comprehensive gwtp proposal to the city from way back in case anyone wants to revisit it (although seaholm is listed in the url); it's very in-depth w/ some great renderings:

I looked at it and what got me was that USAA is a partner. I wonder if they're still financing the projects? Very positive sign that it will get built due to USAA track record for financing.

Okay, back in December demolition on GWTP was halted due to safety violations, but I have not read anything about demolition resuming. Can anyone confirm that demolition has resumed at the site in the past couple weeks? I know it was still halted mid January.

I don't think it has resumed. The site looks pretty much untouched for weeks.
