Yeah, it could be sellout crowds. There's no ticket available. It would be too impossible to get a tickets. You must get a ticket right way before they sellout.

Yeah, I realize that I knows there is no storms. They don't have any bad weather at all. They want to keep away from the hot weather. They do have A/C on.

I was surprised to find no official website for this stadium. The one on wiki was a dead link.

I wonder what all will have to be sacrificed in the design for the FAA?

I'm 110% in support of STL so I don't really care what they do but I at least hope the Chargers stay in SD and play in their own stadium instead of sharing this one. That Carson design in SD makes the most sense.

Looks much more refined IMO. It doesn't have that awkward floating balcony section.
There are no video boards in this image. I wonder what the plan is for that.

^ The oval-shaped "Oculus" hanging from the roof is the videoboard.

Great info all.

As far as the roof/stadium design goes, I heard a senior NFL official describe the "roof" as a "new, translucent material which will cover the top." The official said, "imagine sitting outside of a warm day with a clear umbrella over your head to protect against any rain, BUT with the sides open."

So this isn't by any means a traditional dome or enclosed stadium. The sides of the stadium are all are open--wind, etc will easily pass thru the concourses and seat exits, etc. And while the top may have a "cover", it is completely see-through to allow full sunlight and views of the night sky.

(sorry if everyone already knew this).

The same plan that's in the new stadium for the Atlanta Falcons.

The canopy will make or break the design. At $2.7 billion, they better get it right.

I know they are trying to comply with the FAA but I wish they would leave the outer shell white.

Appropriate for a city like Atlanta, no?

Video and site interviews with the project manager. Supposedly they are going down 100ft for the field.

Looks like life in LA is just getting a tad bit better. New stadium. "New" old football team, and a brand new skyscraper, or two. But now it can no longer take credit for anymore new NFL stadiums to go up around the country, aside from the possibility of Oakland and/or San Diego. Who else can threaten to move there? Which city is the next bargaining chip? London?

^^^ We are getting WAY more than two skyscrapers, more in the 20-30 range lol.

If the Chargers stay in San Diego and the Raiders stay in Oakland (both seeming more and more likely now), the Rams stadium is still being built to hold 2 teams and seems like Vegas is trying to throw its hat in the ring for potential franchises.

If anything, there are plenty of cities capable of being used as bargaining chips. Vegas, San Antonio ( only when Jerry Jones Croaks), L.A can still be used, Oklahoma City might make sense in the future (Again, when Jerry Jones Croaks) and when St. Louis gets a new city administration, I'm sure they will get over their bitterness and try to attract a team in the distant future (maybe 15-20 years from now).

Salt lake city and Portland may also bloom into being possible options but small ones unless their populations boom in the next decade or two.

P.S. This is just my sports opinion though, pure speculation.
