I remember people were and are still very critical of the design and design materials tied into this project But the taller it gets the more and more this building is coming together.

^The massing and height is the only thing I like about this building. It does look good from far but up close it's far from good.

Playing devils advocate, You could say that the projects best ground level attribute, is the black granite, they are using at the base of the building.

if you look at the original rendering, www.18york.com, the glass was different on the south east corner and was pulled down to the street. i thought this gave a nice effect to the building. too bad they removed this feature. kinda looks like a suburban office block now but the glass is nice.
