Could somebody please change the title of this thread to "What Skytrain stations have you never been to?"

I have only never been to Lake City and King George surprisingly.
When the M line opened, me and my friend got off at every station and examined its architectural qualities. Lake City wasn't build then. Plus, I don't think it was a bus loop like most the others? Virtually every other station I've caught a bus to somewhere else from it

Is there a prize for having visited the most stations? If so I think Deasine should be disqualified casue he's a mod

The prize is a free "Buzzer" pamphlet. You can collect it on the train! hehe.

P.S. sorry about the spelling mistake. wasn't really paying attention i guess.

It doesn't count if you were going to a station just to go to the station. Didn't you get the memo?

Production way might have the closest, you simply walk down from the platform and go into macs/Subway, they have a public bathroom (which i might have used once or twice as i transfer to the 145.)

Wow this is so useful thanks...I think this deserves a new thread...public bathrooms along skytrain...no bathrooms at our stations because we (some people) are ONLY paying $5 for 3 zone fare on a 2 hour ride...

Anyway...

I've never got off at:

Rupert (Is there a superstore there??)
Sperling (right...let's go to the clogged Burnaby Lake)
Lake City (industrial wasteland...I just remember there was a huge tree on the field that fell down Winter 2006-07...)
Sapperton (haven't had to visit the hospital yet)
Royal Oak (the station to blame for all the delays, I'll never get off there who knows what will happen!!)
29th Ave
Nanaimo
Gateway

And technically never used:

King George (just rode to the end for the sake of it
Scott Road (many years ago I decided to just cross the bridge for fun...and turned back there because I was told as a kid that Surrey is "dangerous")

I just wanted to use this post to point out "the most out of place skytrain station":

Braid Station

Reason: one huge transfer for Coquitlam/Poco/Maple Ridge buses or car rides, I never recall anyone walking out of the station as the surrounding area is deprived of anything useful (greyhound depot has since moved). I've always wanted to suggest to Translink that all those buses should just end up at Lougheed instead (and make the ultimate super bus loop). Anyway that's another story.

29th Ave is next to Slocan park which has public washrooms, they are being renovated due to a fire a few months ago and are making due with portapotties but normally they do have public washrooms, only about 100m from the station.
This thread is going sideways, and I'm not helping

well once the evergreen line goes in and they get rid of the 169, braid will truly be useless until that big development happens

Don't forget Maillardville (153, 156, 157), IKEA/SilverCity/Superstore/Greyhound (159, 177), and all the employments/stores/casino along United Blvd (177, 791 - but I don't know if they'll still run this one)...

The 177 is well used. The 791 express isn't used as much but they did just upgrade it from commuter hours to mid-day service as well (Maple Ridge express).

They're the only buses that serve United Blvd. United Blvd will get a WHOLE lot more useful when they replace the single lane bridge that exists now and extend it to Brunette.

I wasn't trying to say that the station or the bus routes themselves is not used much...just that it doesn't seem many people walk to the area around it (compared with say New West or even Sapperton!)

Oh well.

and 169 will still be faster during some times of day than the to-be-completed Evergreen Line...
