Median trees are notoriously hard to care for due to the road salt spray and the drainage issues. It's a given that a few of them are going to die and replacement ones can only be planted at certain times of the year. It is totally unfair to blame the city for that. Overall, they have done a great job beautifying the medians along Wyandotte, Dougall, Howard, etc. Lauzon Parkway is next on the list. At least the city cares enough to do things like that. The other cities in our region (London, Kitchener, Hamilton) certainly don't.
