Alex City- A Google SketchUp City

I decided to make my own thread for my city that I've been working on for a couple of weeks, Alex City. So far its only the downtown area, but I'm planning to build as far as the suburbs, if my computer lets me.

Downtown Alex City and the new South Street Ferry Terminal, and Riverside Plaza Condos.

Riverside Waterfront

Nice!

You need one hell of a computer if you want suburbs.

That is very awesome, great work NYRican

Looks to me like Lower Manhattan. Me thinks you will now start building south and eventually create midtown eh?

Yeah and my computer probably couldn't even handle building anything outside of downtown.

Remeinds me of Manhattan, have you consitered putting more supertalls? Although that single supertall tower dose look cool and kinda evil above the rest of the city

I'm planning to build another large supertall further north of the city. Until then heres an update of what I built today...

I built a Bridge crossing the Harbor, connecting both sides of the City.

I forgot to put shadows on for the pictures, so they don't look as good as they should...
