As far as i know it's off for the time being. That's why there's no news. I don't even think it was officially proposed.

This thing is nowhere near - the design itself is very preliminary. Don't expect anything on this until the rest of Canterbury has been built out, which that in itself is a while away.

Why is Regina proposing and building all these 20+ floor skyscrapers and Winnipeg isn't doing any of that stuff?? Even Fargo is planning a possible 20 storey skyscraper in its downtown, and Winnipeg seems to be dragging its feet. Sounds odd...

Why don't you ask this in the Winnipeg thread? Once you do, you get the response that there are at least two 25 story buildings (one appartment and one condo) slated for construction next year, among other similar sized building slated for construction over the next few years in the downtown and suburbs.

Why is there a thread for this? This building was never formally proposed (correct me if i'm wrong). It was never more than a rendering, as a part of a long term development plan.

She's dead. The built a huge $60 million seniors residence on the site. It is only 4 levels. It is nearly complete.

There is still room for a condo tower between the new senior's residence and the condos already built along Broad St. and Badham Blvd.I think this was already stated on a previous thread.
