Awesome pictures!!

Question: In the pics above the lantern is lit above the roof of the building. When the construction is complete, will that be lit all the way down the building?

TIA

Saw it going SouthEast around Logan Square on Saturday Night and the lower half was def lit up. More than just interior lights, but not quite as bright as the lantern. Similar to the corners of the CC now.

There are sporadic sections lit up going down the entire side. Anyone know if it will be able to change color? Doesn't look like it.

That (partially?) illuminated spine is going to be visible--I'd seriously bet--from at least thirty miles.
And just when this tower can't be made to look any more ginormous....

I love how the Comcast Technology Center resembles the Statue of Liberty!

Like it's older brother, it was designed to be lit only white.

What I love about this building is the effort taken to use design elements of the surrounding towers to tie this in with the skyline. The angled bars on the east and west faces coincide with the top portions of 1 and 2 Liberty, the horizontal bars spaced out after multiple floors coincides with the corner bars on the blue cross building and the horizontal stripes on the Liberties, the tapered thickness and general shape coincides with Logan and well as the Commerce Twins, the vertical bars and the spine brings in the verticality of the BNY Mellon facade, and the chunky base of the lantern brings ties in with the crown of Comcast 1. But all together it's a really beautiful standalone tower. Well done. The lighting is the icing too. Pretty sweet.

I love these two different colors of the lantern but is this something done with the camera or different settings on the lantern itself? Dim & yellow & bright white

It seems that when it's first turned on it's very yellow, but when the sky gets darker, the lights fade from yellow to white

last night you could really see almost all the spine lit from bottom to top, adds an interesting effect and this looks even taller at night

The area below the torch was more dimly lit

The torch looks bright from far away Germantown pike and 363 and even coming in from 76

seemed like a new look even last night

For Python fans: Your Majesty is like the spire of the Comcast Technology Center. You shine out like a shaft of gold, when all around is dark.

One of Shaw's!

I finally got into the city for the first time since I got back from college and it was too cloudy to see the spire, which was completed since I was last in the city. Anyway, I got a few good pictures.
