Lightbulb *MONCTON AREA* <CONSTRUCTION PHOTO-TOUR> (July 2016)

Hi Folks!

Going out this weekend to capture some U/C projects and recently completed stuff as well.

I will create a separate post for each of the tri-communities as I capture them!

Great photo tour mmmatt.

I'm looking forward to your upcoming Moncton construction update.

I expect your Riverview construction update to be quite brief.........

Good job, great tour!

I think the unknown constructions site on Aviation avenue is the new Mercedes-Benz dealership.

I have a suspicion that you're right about that. This is roughly where I heard Tri-Star was interested in on Aviation Avenue, and they seemed to want to get into the Moncton market before the arrival of Porsche/Jaguar/Land Rover.

Thanks folks!

That would be great if it was Mercedes! Would fit right in around there for sure

I wonder when the province will build a new interchange for Aviation Ave and the airport...seems very silly now the choice to build one in Scoudouc first...

Hope y'all enjoyed! Took a while to run those roads

A couple footnotes:

1. In an effort to save some time I had to cut some stuff from my list...
+ GAS STATIONS (lame)
+ UPCOMING U/C BUT NO ACTION YET (lot beside Sleep Country, Swiss Chalet Dieppe, Dolma Food etc)
+ RENOVATIONS (no matter how nice...ex Bass Pro, Canadian Tire)
+ SPECULATIVE UPCOMING PROJECTS (no matter how confirmed...ex 55 Queen)

2. I did this photo tour on a holiday in case you wonder why the streets and shops look vacant...everyone was either at home or downtown:

Great tour again mmmatt

You left a few out (new fire hall on Dieppe Blvd for example) but this tour required a lot of work and any quibbles are superfluous in any event.

Glad to have you back as a regular contributor!

Just imagine how this perspective of Assumption Blvd might look in a few years if the new Codiac RCMP HQ is built next to the Law Courts as expected.

Thanks!

Yeah I figured I'd miss a few...master packaging expansion too but that's hard to photograph...also I thought of Mikes bike shop and that new mixed use building off botsford. Doh! Oh well always next time
