Because you said best team in the league and not more pts, your claim is invalid.
It's no surprise a
healthy Habs team has been the best team in the league with goal difference of
+10 after 4 games (1 SO loss counts as -1).
We finished 2nd in the whole league in 2014-2015 with Price healthy with 50 wins and 110 pts.
Last season, we were
13-2-1 with a
+30 goal differencial when the MVP (and a billion of others injuries including the engine of the team Gallagher) went down.
We're actually a bit ahead of last year's torrid goal differential pace to start the year.
Despite losing some offense with Weber (vs Subban), Galchenyuk is now the #1 center and Radulov is light years better than washed up Semin.
16-17: 3-0-1, 16GF, 6GA, +10
15-16: 4-0-0, 13GF, 6GA, +7
