Good win to be sure, but they still need to get better defensively. Being outshot every game isn't something that is good for long term success.

Probly because we know the bottom could drop out at any moment.

With the salary cap, there isn't much difference between the bottom 22 or so teams. Stay healthy and you're in the playoffs. A few key injuries and you're done. If the Canucks stay healthy they will likely get close to 100 points. We have 3 pretty solid centers in Hank Sutter and Horvat and our d is better than people think and our goaltending is imo one of thr nest tandems in the league. Just gotta stay healthy.

Yup, lots of sloppy play.

Because you said best team in the league and not more pts, your claim is invalid.

It's no surprise a healthy Habs team has been the best team in the league with goal difference of +10 after 4 games (1 SO loss counts as -1).

We finished 2nd in the whole league in 2014-2015 with Price healthy with 50 wins and 110 pts.

Last season, we were 13-2-1 with a +30 goal differencial when the MVP (and a billion of others injuries including the engine of the team Gallagher) went down.

We're actually a bit ahead of last year's torrid goal differential pace to start the year. Despite losing some offense with Weber (vs Subban), Galchenyuk is now the #1 center and Radulov is light years better than washed up Semin.
16-17: 3-0-1, 16GF, 6GA, +10
15-16: 4-0-0, 13GF, 6GA, +7

We are very grateful to BC for that and hopefully the province keeps providing us with talents in the future.

Speaking of which, a Habs fan (I would guess so) has made this website.

Another win for the Habs in Boston... 9 straight now.

We're maintaining the torrid pace of last season:

16-17: 4-0-1, 20GF, 8GA, +12
15-16: 5-0-0, 16GF, 6GA, +10

Season is early still but there has been some great hockey so far.
Goals per game must be up.

This NHL.tv subscription is paying off.

Well if Price AND Gallagher get injured at the same time, then we're fucked! Thankfully the likelihood of that happening is next to zero (+Montoya is a seasoned #2 unlike rookie Mike Condon last year).

And just like that, there is only 1 undefeated team in regulation in the NHL. Sorry Canucks lol.

It was 3-0 but I would have preferred the 5-1 (at least giving the Jets a goal). Unless you meant something else?

Not the best execution from the Habs but we found a way to win.

Alexander Radulov has outproduced Alex Semin's production last season in just 6 games. Tonight, he won us the game almost by himself. His hustle and skill level is incredible and is showing that he was without a doubt the best player outside of the NHL.

Habs now 5-0-1 and even though Shea Weber has been just what I expected, I miss Subban.

Elliott finally showed up, he was a beast last night! Flames look like they are starting to get on track. Another big test in St Louis tonight, here's hoping Elliott picks up where he left off last night and Johnny can pot a couple.
