I agree. It was an amazing set. I'm currently using one of your pics as a wallpaper. I absolutely love the shot from Harlem with Midtown in the background. Also gives a great vantage point for 432 Park Ave.

High-quality, highly artistic, great subject matter. Really, just one of the best photothreads on here in a very long time. I particularly like the first shot (what are we looking at, there?) and the eerie shot of the lit ESB crown seeming to float above the city.

Fantastic! I'm so excited that Summer has finally arrived in NYC. I ran past that Big Bird and Elmo a couple of weekends ago and had to do a double take.

The urban bits in the foreground are the northern half of Washington Heights. The green bit just beyond that is the hilly Ft. Tryon Park. I look at that view everyday at work and can never get enough of it!

The first photo and others appear to have been taken from one of the three Bard-Haven Towers in Washington Heights. There are about 400ft tall and with the elevation being near the highest in Manhattan I would expect you would have that view. Looking north pass upper Manhattan into the northwest section of the Bronx and into Westchester county. If you look closely you can see the skyline of White Plains. And, I agree with everyone excellent photographs, beautiful color, subjects and composition
