now that a deals been reached, it should start next week finally, and all 4 remaining towers will be done by 2012.

Excellent. Finally the FT is going up. Look at how massive it will be compared to the Orion on 42nd, and that is a big tower.

By the way, Infinity II in Miami is in no way under construction. Infinity I has started work but not infinity II (it still has previous buildings standing on the site). Just another one of those instances where "Infinity" breaks ground so emporis lists both towers as being U/C when they are only working at one at a time.

Yeah JM, but when its done it will be easy to compare the two. Besides it just gives you an idea of how huge it is to compare it to something in midtown that I already thought was pretty large.

Wow...just stumbled upon this thread. Fantastic diagram! Looking forward to revisiting frequently. Sure wish my Atlanta was doing a better job representing itself! Nice to finally see Freedom Tower about to kick-off!

Yay!!

According to the diagram, the Freedom Tower will be the tallest building in the country for several years with no rivals, at least until something taller comes along.
