Please post any interiors that youve been in or know of that have made you stand there in awe...
I was allowed access to the Louisiana old state capitol building last night in Baton Rouge and got roof access, which hardly anyone gets to see. The building is incredible. Built in 1849, it was gutted by the Union in 1863 and the interior was completely redone by the 1880s and is one of the most incredible interiors Ive ever seen to a building.
This hardly anyone gets to see. Its the top of the stained glass atrium that only accessible from a 2 story spiral staircase.
The new 1930s state capitol in Baton Rouge Senate wing.
Also, here in Louisiana there are tons of incredible old Catholic churches. This is one thats in Lafayette, St. Johns I believe its called. It was built in the early 1900s and is absolutely amazing to be in.

Then one of the most memorable interiors Ive been was this old abandoned hotel in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. It was built I believe in 1910 and has been abandoned since the late 60s or early 70s.
Another great one I've recently been in is the Arkansas State Capitol building in Little Rock.
