Hey now... I'm not THAT young.

Actually, that footbridge is right in my neck of the woods, so I would definitely (if you guys are interested) recommend Uncle Glenn's sports bar for beers. Decent patio, and they have a wood-burning stove that they make some fantastic pizzas in. 156 Street and 77 Ave.

No kidding. Rio's where I hang my hat when I'm in town. I frequent Glenn's patio plenty of summer evenings. The draft Moosehead is far better than other places for whatever reason.

It's now a toss-up whether I'll be able to bike, but I'll definitely meet for beers if Uncle Glenn's or Ken's place is the decided locale.

Maybe start at Glenns and head out check the Quennell up grades, cross at Buena Vista and head upriver from there.

^^ sounds like a plan... although patio and beer prior to ride may make ride unpossible.

^see you there.

Is this going ahead? If so, where are we meeting up and when?

ETA: My suggestion would be to meet at Louise McKinney at 6:00.

I'm still in. I think we were talking about heading out from Glenns Pub in the west end BEFORE BEER. doing a tour of the west valley.

Hows 6:00 6:30 sound. But I'm flexable.

It's up to you guys. If you don't mind biking after beer/wings/pizza, go for it. Just PM me with whatever plan you decide, and I'll stop by for the food/bev part of the evening.

Food & drinks before biking is a recipe for tragedy, or at least some serious suckage, IMO.

How many are on this ride. If most want to start at LM I can be there. Beer is just a benefit of the post ride electrolytes replacement. We can find a place in the core for a beer.
