This truly is Dallas porn. I can't say that I much care for the city, but after seeing your photos, I want to be give it another go around!

You have an excellent eye, excellent skills, a seriously mad camera, and thanks for sharing.

Wow, these are disgustingly good. You're a sick photographer! I never knew Dallas could look so good. Even the Belmont hotel ...I just found out about that place last wknd.

Couple cool vantage points you may care to look at in the future are:
  • White Rock Lake - the hill just to the north of the lake (you can see the lake and downtown)
  • Renaissance Hotel - you have to take the elevator to ~5-6 floors below the gym/pool and take the stairs up (can't get direct access unless unless you're a guest ; )
  • Coming into Dallas from 30 west - downtown looks cool and ya gotta get a couple pics of the Neon Pegasus!

WOW!
Every single shot is stunning. Great camera work.
# 12 and 13 remind me on a great June. Watched every mavs playoff match (often 4 o'clock in the morning)

Thanks for the kind words, everyone!

pallo - I use a Canon 30D. It's pretty old, but it still gets the job done

UrbanImpressionist - yup, I've hit up all those spots you've mentioned. I didn't have too much luck with that spot at White Rock Lake, but I'll definitely be back. I just moved right next to the lake, so I have a lot more exploring to do. I hit up the Renaissance Hotel roof a few years ago and got busted. They kicked me out, but I did manage to get this pano. I'll be back up there as soon as the weather gets cooler. They haven't seen the last of me yet

iamaberliner - Thanks! Yep, June sure was great. It was awesome seeing all of the Mavs up close at the parade. Such a wonderful time for Dallas and Germany

Dallas' nighttime skyline is really one of the best around. It's been growing on me more lately.

And I've always loved the facade of the Renaissance Tower.
