Close the gun store and that would be the cherry on top!

^Well, there's nothing of that scale on Locke presently so you're not wrong to say it might look out of place. In the end, I'm sure it'll be fine...

Looks like a good scale for that type of neighbourhood.

I have to agree, that scale is ideal. I hope the retail/commercial has as much positive street presence as it looks like it will.

I regularly shop at al Simmons. It's great. Just because you don't like guns doesn't mean it should close.

I love Locke street. I can grab a bite to eat at great restaurants get a superb cup of coffee and even pick up some ammo. Where else can I do that?

Maybe a bit bigger than what I think is good scale for Locke but not big enough that I'd raise a stink about it. Still a solid design.

Don't rag on the gun shop, we should encourage local small businesses.

When Justin legalizes marijuana we'll probably see a lot of local small businesses pop up. . .

We already have at least 2 dispensaries that opened recently.

James S/Augusta and King E/Ferguson

Just had a buddy told me he bought a unit in this condo. One bedroom 700 sq feet plus 300 sq foot terrace for mid 400k.

He said it was a bit of a steep price but the amenities they showed him are all top notch and you cant beat the locke street location.

I encourage and endorse this town until I'm blue in the face, but living nearby a gun shop which has had robberies in the past and in a city which could use the help in that topic. I will rag on it all day.

Wow that's steep for such a tiny unit, and considering that a terrace is only good for part of the year... You could get a whole house for that price; but I guess to the condo buyer, the amenities list reigns king.

People pay half a million dollars to live near the gun shop (well more like Starbucks but the gun shop is there) and they will pay more than that in the future. I don't think anyone is worried about the the gun store being on Locke Street.

What do you mean by "only good for part of the year"?
