DAYTON, OHIO: Through the lens of Glowrock

Had a fun time this past weekend. Got the ColDayMan tour of Dayton, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati. First off, here's Dayton. I know I was impressed by the center city residential stock, as well as the downtown and parks. I hope you will be too!

Good stuff. Nicely preserved/renovated downtown homes.

Nice thread,I really like the second shot. That is such a kewt building. This is textbook stuff for architects. There should be more modern builders/designers that take their cues from this kind of structure as far as proportions are concerned. Lots of Charm.

Thanks for the kind words, guys! I was pretty damned impressed by Dayton as well, truth be told. I never expected such great neighborhoods so close to downtown! All I have to say is this: If you enjoyed this tour, you'll really enjoy the Indianapolis and Cincinnati tours that will be shortly upcoming!

Beautiful pictures of Dayton, glowrock!

I´ve liked very much those houses, the gardens and flowers. It´s very pretty, and your photos are very good.

Congratulations and greetings from Madrid, Spain!

Consider me impressed! What's with all the overhead wires downtown? Does Dayton have a streetcar system or something?

A massive electric trolleybus system, actually...
