The only things I would have to say need help are the textures. For me, clearer textures helped more than anything else. Other than that, it's looking great!

If you could get some clearer textures on some of those buildings you'd be set.

That's where all my problems lie.

Looks Like I'm doing something right.

Cars! And more sexy textures. Compare to the pictures on the top of this page. What I've done is, instead of using small repetative textures, I've been using larger full building textures, making it look much more realalistic.

I'm so happy with what the results are. Thanks to Tanster's method of putting flat cars in, the city finally looks alive and not dead! The new Large textures make the buildings look already rendered! Compare this shot to the rendered pics above, you'll see theres not much of a difference. Theres also new roof textures, if you look at the older pics, you'll see how ugly and unrealalitic my old roof textures where.

That last picture looks incredible.

I like how you matched a New Jersey area code (732) to your city.

I suggest making something like Co-Op City in Queens (continuous brick 20 floor residential buildings that look the same). As well as a mall or a large shopping plaza. If you know of the Cross Country Center in th Bronx, that would be a good example.

I seriously had to look at that last one for a minute to figure out if it was a real picture or if it was your city. Great textures there.

Right now I'm working on the Downtown area of Jefferson, which is now just "meh" rather than slummy. So its not that dangerous living in the area. This is probably the nicest part of Jefferson.

A Co-op City styled area sounds fun, I'm not sure where I'll put it, but I'll find a place. I dont know what the Bronx Cross Country Center looks like, cant find anything on it on the web

Those are new roof textures.

I'm working on the cheap waterfront. As you can see its more Staunton styled, Parking Lots galore!

I've replaced the Central Moters Headquarters, as they where blant copies of the Chase Tower in Phoenix and yeahh they werent very sexy. I've replaced them with some boreish box buildings. They could proably be some government buildings or something.
