The Entertainment District Gets a Manhattan Makeover

In the photo below you can see how the Entertinment District has transformed itself from a series of vacant (clubland) warehouses and parking lots, and into a vibrant community built around highrise and midrise living. In the center of the photograph you can see the Cinema Towers Condo under construction by the developer Daniels, also right next to Cinema condos is the Toronto International Film Festival Tower. The low slung building in the mid-foreground is going to become a major office tower development with some mixed uses, and the tower on the left of the photo is the recently completed Charlie condos which is 36 floors. As they say King West is very trendy, and with the additional people moving into the area, its also become very hectic and busy.

Ditto, this thing is going to look so tall and thin from the park across the street. It will be our own little Bryant Park in a few years.
