Don't take it personally. It's not necessarily about group think. Some people here are more of an urban planning type while some are more pure skyscraper nerds that just want to look at construction. Some don't want to see endless defenses of city decisions or long debates about urban planning where they have no direct relevance to the thread.

This is a thread about the Comcast Technology Center...

Any further talk about anything else will be deleted and appropriate infractions will be handed out.

How about some ground zero, 18th and Arch Streets shots... future front lobby. Btw, the lobby is absolutely massive, Titanic, but we already knew this...

See how small those workers look above the lobby working on the second Z (L) close to the Sterling building:

You can see what will eventually be how CTC meets Arch St - glass installed

The underneath part of building from the base (lobby) to the office section-- interesting... this building has layers you might say, overhangs the base:

It's a monster!

A few others while I'm here:

Does the blue tape get physically removed or does it just "wear away" over time? I wish it would just be removed so you could get a truer sense of how it will really look when the sun hits it from various angles.

I don't think they will purposefully remove the remainder until the building's ready for prime time. BUT that's not that far off any more. Still seems on track for December.

It will most certainly be removed when it's time.

As much as I like the dark clouds and rainy days, there are times when the bright sun offers the best images.

Precisely.

It will be fun to review this angle in another two years or so..with the W and 1911 Walnut (fingers crossed)..and hopefully by then we'll also have some new projects to be excited about.
