Oh. I thought he was some sort of expert. A review of his Facebook feed belies that notion.

Oh ok, thanks!!! Sorry for getting carried away with excitement.

This is excellent and really clarifies a lot in terms of the height in relationship to the other buildings. Thanks!

Also 18th St is now closed between JFK and Arch, I presume for the concourse construction. The atrium looks like it is getting prepped for its next step in construction. The weighted sacks are gone as well as all of the construction equipment they had been storing in there.

Nice update photos ekt8750!

Also, it's been awhile that 18th St. is closed. Unless they open and close it at certain times. Every time I've been in town (which is rare) so who knows?

Thanks! They had been intermittently closing 18th but now the entire block is dug up.

Oh wow! Didn't know they started digging it up. Then yeah, it would be closed for quite some time.

Yes, 18th Street has been closed off for awhile. It was completely closed off last week, even to pedestrians. Here's a pic I took from above, you can see the tunnel being formed --

I'll try to get some more pics soon.

This is going to be an amazing shot when this sucker is complete. You have almost every major skyscraper visible, including FMC way back on the left.

Imagine when SY and 30th St. District Plan are complete...Will look like a different city entirely.

That shot is sweet! It does include all of the "Big Boys". I'm glad the Verizon, aka. Bell Atlantic, 3 Logan, etc. etc. is showing there too. That's one my favorites.
Also, think ahead 10, 20, or even 30 years ahead. Think how that shot would look with 30th St. and Schuylkill Yards. Good Lord, I'll be 93 years old. More likely dead, or so senile I won't give a shit!

I was very upset to see a very negative comment on google reviews on the CITC. It said, "Horrible new high rise from a greedy corporation that is a nuisance to the neighborhood." I know some people don't like Comcast itself, but it makes me mad when they insult the beautiful CITC.

Forget it, Jake. It's the internet.
