It's supposed to be balconies. With a border of neon lighting and other Miami-esque features, to fit in with its neighbor to the north.

^The more the merrier. I just rolled past on the L to find arch glass on site, ready for install. Also, Go Hawks Go Cubs.

With the added height this building has a much better profile than all the renderings I've seen - much slimmer looking and less... deodorant stick-ish.

Even the renderings at the site don't reflect the new height.

^ Nice pics. They've completed the glass above the right-half of the arch. Also, they may or may not have removed the concrete pump from the core as of this morning. :/
