Veneers are a pretty common practice nowadays- real stone looks for fake stone prices.

Agreed that this base looks very nice thus far.

This is from a few weeks ago but should still be a helpful tip. The Walgreens at Broad x Chestnut has excellent views from the 3rd floor. Windows are floor-to-ceiling and wrap around with little interruption. The little bit of elevation goes a long way.

The progress is phenomenal. Took around 22 months to reach ground level and only 10 months to where it is today. (If I'm correct) Are we halfway yet ??

The next pour is about to get underway. It's almost weird to be able to see the blue arm from my desk now:

no, it looks like they are working on the 21st floor. Well in height it may be halfway- but not in floor count.

It might depend on how much of a crown this building ends up with.

Did the crane get jumped recently? Not only can I see it from the 6th/7th floor of Alter Hall (Fox School of Business), but also at ground level here in Templetown

It did not. It should jump within a week or they'll be in trouble because the core will be higher than the crane operator.

The crane jumped over the weekend. Also, cladding has begun on the southern facade. And the core is now the same height as my office. Here's your alternate angle picture for today:
