i heard a rumor that Trader Joe's is looking at the old Sara Mayo Hospital on Jackson.

Since when does Trader Joes care about ample parking hahaha? Sara Mayo would be a good area though.

I don't understand how they haven't popped into the old Walgreens spot in strip mall at Tchoup and Jefferson. It is the perfect size and right next to a wealthy neighborhood. Yes, Winn-Dixie is right there, but are they competition? The one on Vets is across from a Rouses so they aren't too concerned with immediate competition.

I can assure you a store like winn dixie requires an exclusivity agreement when its in a shopping center... walgreens is ok but not another grocer..
