First impression is that I don't particularly like the design, but will wait until I see more renderings of how it looks in the skyline because some time big boxes work for me. 550 apartments is a huge number, don't see that as being feasible for one development in Nashville.

Update...Although the parking garage is under construction, the tower's construction is scheduled to begin 'at the end of the year'. No reason to believe it won't happen as of this time.

Well, unfortunately we won't score a new tallest with the loss of 200ft and 15 floors, but it appears financing is coming into focus and a full loan may be contracted in about 8 weeks.
I like the base and middle part of it (it's much better than that design that looked like a robot off of the Jetsons) but the lack of any defining feature on the top kind of makes it look boring to me. Either way, hate to see the loss in height.
It is disappointing to see this thing shortened, but it has been about seventeen years since the Signature Tower was initially proposed on this lot by this same developer, so at this point, I just want to see that parking lot disappear and get something built. I'm disappointed relative to the previous iterations of this project, but all in all, a 550 foot residential tower is definitely not something to be hanging our heads over.

When they finish building the parking garage, how are the construction workers for the Paramount going to get down in that hole? It looks as if the garage would cover up the ramp that is there currently.
