haha, here's a short explanation:

I spent 3 days in TO with friends, and we visited some places on foot, some others by TTC (Chinatown, CN Tower, eating at Dundas Sq, movies at Bloor/Yonge, Centre Island); and finally, Niagara Falls by car.

I almost always had my camera with me, so it was easy to update some buildings seen regularly on this forum.

July 1st, 2008, leaving by train (couldn't sit on the skyline viewing side...)

Success Tower again

francely57, you should post a photo tour of your trip in the main Canadian/USA photo area. I am sure everyone would love to see all these buildings going up.

Fairmont Pacific Rim Vancouver (as seen from Cordova St looking east) | July 15th

^ Yes, the lettering is a permanent public art component of the building. I am not certain but I think it may actually be on each floor of the hotel part of the tower.

Taken by SFUVancouver, July 15th, 2008.

I imagine there will be some great views from "Woodwards' as it seems to be off on it's own a bit (nothing to block out sightlines)
Great vantage point of V's skyline.

Some updates from the last little while...

All pics courtesy of myself

176m -- Centennial Place

July 18, 2008

170m -- Jamieson Place

July 18, 2008

Jamieson is moving up fast, and Centennial should start picking up the pace now that they are past the podium floors.
