Skyscraper Porn: HOUSTON

There is a TON more to Houston than skyscrapers...a great food scene, museums, neighborhoods, drinking spots and more...but this is a celebration of the downtown skyline. Oh, I didn't let tropical storm Bill get me down, I sure got wet using bikeshare, Metro and my feet taking in the city and inner 'burbs.

And to the photos now:

HOUSTON

and this one for the guys and gals who built Houston

Wow, a lot of great buildings. I especially like the third picture. Good job.

Houston is perversely pornographic! Great shots by the way!

Nice!

I Like Dallas, but Houston looks far more urban.

Nice job, and nice day (they're rare lately). I like the downtown skyline as well, especially from the Allen Parkway side and coming in from the north on I-45. I also like the Uptown skyline from Post Oak Blvd, but that would be another thread.

Great thread. I love the panorama of the inside of the Gulf Building. It's definitely one of my favorite buildings in Houston.

Thanks for the views...I have never seen a picture which so clearly shows all of the blue tile in the tempietto atop the Esperson Building!
