looking at wikipedia it says the top floor (61st) is 784 feet so the 58th would be around 750ish?

If you trust the approximately gazillion signs that advertise the observation deck within Liberty Place itself, they tout it being exactly 883 feet above the ground. Do with that what you will.

well, short of pulling out a tape measure I have no way of knowing; I do find it interesting that the One Liberty Observation Deck website doesn't mention the height other than to say it's "57 floors up", at least not that I saw on there...

From the FAQ section however I did learn that I can't bring my pet, so there's that

If you want to believe the Inquirer:

Quote:
A Comcast rep tells me that the hotel's 60th-floor check-in and lounge will be 879 feet above the street. (The 59th-floor restaurant, whose operator has not been identified, will be 865 feet above the street.)

Note: This post has been updated with new information about the height of One Liberty Place's 57th floor, which had been billed as 883 feet up but is, in fact, 760 feet off the sidewalk.

Looks like all of the condos were bought by Brian Roberts.

They'll probably use these as a "pied a terre" (big ones) when they come into the city nights and weekends and for out-of-town business associates and personal guests.

760 sounds more realistic for Liberty Place. It's not even higher than Mellon Bank. It still has great views though. Part of me thinks that CTC may not have better views than OLP because Comcast completely blocks the view to the east. Granted, you can't see (most of) the Parkway from Liberty Place, but still. Comcast would likely block City Hall and anything past.

I feel like this building is turning out a lot better than everyone expected.
I love how it's beginning to look, I just want the spire up ASAP

I'd be happy if they'd just take the blue saran wrap off for now.

it's been a month now since they planted the flag up top & I can't see any real noticeable progress since then, the hotel portion looks the same; I don't want to sound like I'm complaining (which of course I am) but wtf are they doing up there

Edit: is there a way to post photos from your Flickr? It gives me a link that doesn't work here.

All I've noticed was the crane changes in the past 2 months.

Looks like the top floor of Penn's Harrison College House (just off the north side of Spruce between 38th and 40th):

It seems to me like they've little by little added to the top floor; I see it every day and every day I notice subtle changes
