KREUZBERG - a dynamic, crazy and likeable part of BERLIN

Before German reunion KREUZBERG was on the edge of West Berlin. It was a place of subculture and migrates. Now KREUZBERG is in the center of BERLIN. This leads to problems, but also to new ways of urban life. On the former border between KREUZBERG and FRIEDRICHSHAIN the development is especially exciting.

Oh, this got to be one of my favourite Berlin threads.

I love Xberg. It has soul and not as full of hipsters as Prenzlauer Berg.

Can you tell me the name of this street?

Wow, superb photos - you've got a great eye. Interesting story about the neighbourhood, too - it seems to be thriving on being in the middle of the city.

Great photos. A lot has changed since 1984. I was there with school. Back then we all thought that the wall wouldn't fall within five years.

One of the best Berlin threads I have seen. Kudos.

And I though US cities were plagued with graffiti.

Nice, artistic photos! I want to visit Berlin, but has postponed it for years since I think it is so close to Sweden that "there are always time to do it later".
