Will we be getting updated renderings of the new developments at Hudson Yards or other developments like Thames street?

^ Everything is subject to revision, so maybe so. Or maybe not.

Here, it reminds me a little of the Chicago Spire, but at half the planned height...

From this angle, the complex looks alien...

Still no idea what they will build in the plaza, but you can see how the tower meets the street...

I think this one is often lost in the talk of new supertalls in Manhattan, but it will be a member of the club.

Hudson Yards Fun Fact Friday!

Did you know that 35 Hudson Yards will be the tallest residential building at Hudson Yards? Standing 1,000 feet in the air, this 1.13 million square foot tower, designed by David Childs and SOM, will offer its residents panoramic views of the city and Hudson River.

They're still thinking this will start rising this year?

For them, any work on site is actual construction. Of course, it's different for what we consider construction purposes on the forum, but they've been saying the whole time, the entire eastern half of the project is expected to be under construction.

the renderings certainly make it look ~1100 feet, maybe 1000 is just a rough estimate.

Anyways this might be my favorite building in the complex

Looks slightly different on this model, along with another placeholder for 50 HY.

Most renderings do make both of those building look more in the 1100 range than 1000

here's to hoping they're accurate because that would be awesome... even though the north tower wouldn't stand out that would be one high plateu

Not such a flattering angle for 30 hudson yards, I hope the lower portion of that side gets a second look at--

And in that model the equinox tower starts to remind me of 1 wtc, in plan a circle inset in a square instead of a square in a square-- David Childs needs to break this pattern up.

From the more detailed renderings, it actually looks pretty good from that side.

When this whole area is done they'll be shooting sci-fi flicks there.

I'm looking forward to seeing the crane imagery at this site, and the proximity of other projects near the yard. Going to be the New York version of a Miami crane forest. Imagine the view from across the Hudson over in Jersey.

It's gonna look f'ing A Sweet from anywhere you look. This project is the first ever encroachment upon Lady ESB in terms of skyline placement.

The tower will be build where the trains are. It will be interesting to watch engineering behind it.
