Hey, Gasm. You and Jive should put together a poster of your best Instagrams. I'd buy it.

Hmm, first apartment buildings photo very touch of Soviet Union planning.

So back to Chicago at last huh.

Oh. ST Louis.
I wasn't sure if it would be SalT Lake (a weird way to acronym it, but plausible) or SeaTtLe (basically the vowel free version).

Nice pics though. Hope the city can get back to better days.

two things:

one: i already called this photo out. but, i will again. i think copa villa inspired me to buy a mid-century house in university city. i did look at a house there IN copa villa (actually a house just a few doors down from the above one) but i didn't like how some of the houses backed up on to bonhomme. i ended up finding a mid century mod house closer to the loop so it's all good, but those houses are top notch, and you can't go wrong with university city...takes the sting out of moving from st. louis city.

two: liquor doctor...love it. though, there are a lot of old style tavern signs in st. louis, why i don't know!

also, i like how you included the county all over the thread.

clayton: it's like an intact (more completely intact pre-war neighborhoods than most actual sunbelt cities) sunbelt city landed just west of a brooding victorian industrial hulk. some of these neighborhoods feel like they are from inner charlotte, but with better urban planning and better intact neighborhood scale commercial.
