Vintage airport photos

Post photographs of your city's airport(s)
from the earlier days of aviation.

I'm not from Los Angeles (I used to live there)
but I have two great photographs of LAX from 1947.

I couldn't find any good old pictures of Copenhagen Airport ( CPH ) but I did find a crummy one from when it was opened in 1925

The airport underwent significant redevelopment and expansion in the late 70's and was renamed Calgary International Airport.

Tempelhof Airport, Berlin, Germany

Described by British architect Sir Norman Foster as "the mother of all airports"

Thanks, yeah Tempelhof is definitely my favorite airport ever built. Its so amazing how massive it really is and I love how airplanes basically go right into the terminal. Its a shame the concourse has had such an ugly renovation in the 60's or so with the addition of a second floor of office space for the airlines. It's also a shame its going to be closed down soon
