I am traveling to Colorado in June, and I making a one day stop in Kansas City just to see this new addition (and of course the collection). I for one think it looks brilliant but I'll reserve my final opinion for after the visit. I'm pretty stoked.

i can't say im anticipating the completion of this project, however i think the interiors fine, but are the photographs making the interior look darker then it really is? and does anyone know the cost of the project?

Have you ever been to an art museum before? I don't know about you, but I see photographs of what may be some of the bightest galleries I have ever seen. Any more lumens, and I might be worried about damage to the art.

A part of me says "This is silly, those materials won't make it to the mid-century without looked D-A-T-E-D" but then this other part of me is like "Those are gorgeous, how peaceful, I like stuff that glows in the dark"... and then one tiny part of me is going "My city is getting a crazy-people's art museum too, so I better not throw stones from the window of my 61 story glass house"....

All in all, I think that now, currently, it is beautiful. But I do worry about how it will age, simply because of its cheapish looking siding stuff.
