Check the webcam now and you can see the forms for the ramp from street level on the east side going down into what will be the parking structure, I'm guessing.

If I remember correctly the Hilton Convention Center Hotel also had 3 cranes when it was built, but no doubt about it, this thing is a monster.

Both the Hilton and Frost Bank Tower had three cranes each. There may be more buildings, but I'm not aware of any.

So at least part of it is now above grade.
Based on the floor I think it's safe to say there will be no ground level retail along 3rd Street.
At least we won't have to see that ugly wall on the Hyatt Place from Congress for much longer.
However THIS wall will soon be going away as well.
