But yeah I can tell the thing will be really shiny, the sun wasn't directly glaring at it while I was there, but just hinting at it. I usually take long walks around Manhattan,(Aka from Midtown down to Downtown) and I usually come up around Downtown around 3pm often, and take my pics between 3-4 pm, the light especially in the winter on a clear day is great
I'm very jealous. I am usually sitting at a desk all afternoon. In any event, I only noticed for the first time today that there are clips on the white panels with windows around the base of the tower. It looks like some kind of exterior panels will be mounted on. I wonder if they will be shiny like the top, or colorful (it is a school after all).

Atleast you have a job and an income! LOL. I'm out of college, unemployed, I feel purposeless in life haha. And about the white clips, I have no idea I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

It seems the floor count is somewhere between 40 and 50, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Certainly...

By the end of the week, maybe the rest of the natives will start noticing.

Well Roldan sitting down at work all day did you good! Look you got out and got the picture we have all been waiting for, good for you! I shall be taking a walk on Thursday and we'll go down there to check out the area some more and take more pictures. Hopefully more is up by then!

I believe it is now just barely 40 (maybe 41). They're putting up the forms for a very tall mechanical floor right now. I'm kind of interested to see what kind of facing they put on those floors.

NYCLuver - Having to go into the office on Sunday is the pits, but it did result in these pictures, which is good. The curves are in a spot I don't normally get by in the mornings, and I also wouldn't normally have an extra 20 minutes to scale the Brooklyn Bridge for extra shots.

Once they start putting the curves on the east/west faces of the building, the shots will be easier and more frequent. Unless they get the facing around to any of the sides, I don't know if I'll have any other pics of curves this week.

They're working on the 38th floor mechanical floor. So its 37 completed, it has about another half still to go.
