ooooooh btw, i'm in houston right now! and the weather is AMAZING!!!
i'll take this sunny, 60 degree weather over the 15 degree, -5 degree wind chill all week long, thank you!

Unless you like great restaurants, museum district, symphony, opera, ethnic diversity, tremendous philanthropy, welcoming of others (about a hundred thousand (or more?) initially came from N.O. right after Katrina, taken care of by thousands of Houstonians). And isn't the great modern architecture part of the culture? I'm the first to admit there are many problems there (traffic, strip centers and billboards are my pet peeves), but the blanket insults really aren't fair.
