This is my favourite tower currently under construction in Toronto. A welcome addition to the skyline.

Those double-height units will be awesome. Too bad their view faces west, though they'll have some killer sunset views. It would be cool to have a double-height view east into the rest of the skyline.

I don't know, maybe in a couple of years the view west will be pretty nice.

It's really starting to look like something now, with most of the cladding and glass installed...the crown and roof look a lot more interesting too...this one is going to be gorgeous when done, especially at dusk in summer.

I agree. While the towers are quite elegant the slate and thoughtlessly placed windows on the Four Seasons podium looks cheap and ugly. Shangri-La has an attention to detail that's a rarity in Canada.

I agree, Four Seasons imo was perfectly executed, Shangri-La looks great but it has an awkward look to it from certain angles. Both are great buildings though.

As much as I love po-mo and faux historicism the integration of the "heritage building" was terribly executed as was most of the west side of the podium. Other than that I love SLT!

Based on this photo, it looks like both the main crane and the removal crane are completely gone. Is this correct? Thanks!

That nasty vent and overbearing grey cladding is a minor blemish on an otherwise well executed podium.

Otherwise looks like Fairmont Pacific Rim and West Pender Place had a beautiful baby!

What does that statement mean exactly? All buildings end up meeting the sidewalk and are going to have as much frontage as the building is wide unless they get skinnier the closer they get to the bottom.
