Skylines...construction...light rail testing...buildings rising...pretty much sums it up.

The new Sheraton Downtown Phoenix hotel opened today...it's an eyesore from the outside but you soon forget after you step inside, it's an amazing piece of work.

That was taken from the parking garage to the SE of the YMCA.

There's not much else around here that we could show that wouldn't be criticized to hell for the lack of urbanity (Tempe, parts of Scottsdale and maybe Downtown Mesa being a few exceptions)

Exactly...aside from downtown Tempe, there isn't much else photographing in my opinion, and even there, it's really just one street.
