^ I found this interesting imbedded in the linked article :

"Viñoly, the architect behind 432 Park Avenue and other New York City projects, has designed One River Point to rise 780 feet, with two towers connected at the summit by a three-story floating glass skybridge."

It seems we can't get a definite height.

^ That's just journalistic rounding.

Sorry I'm an idiot and posted something in the wrong thread. A mod could delete this post.

Was looking for the river walk towers not one river point.

I would like to see the backside renderings of these towers that don't face the Miami River. The multi-story waterfall facing the river & the Miami Avenue bridge is going to look incredible.

One River Point is Mega-Luxury for the Still-Seedy Miami RIver

Quote:
Having been given a preview of KAR Properties' proposed ultra luxury tower designed by world-renowned architect Rafael Viñoly on the Miami River, One River Point, a friend of Gridics drooled over the service, saying it would be unlike anything else found in Miami. Hong Kong, yes he said, where a building's staff really knows how to make you happy, but not Miami.

The project, which recently began sales, is certainly very plush. Whether or not it brings a new level of luxury to Miami, it certainly brings it to the Miami River, a waterway which has seen a resurgence in recent years but is definitely still more than a little rough-and-tumble around the edges. Situated at a bend in the river that allows the building to orient itself toward Biscayne Bay, One River Point is actually two 60-story towers connected by a pedestal base and skybridge top, with a total of 350 units. The three-story skybridge is planned to contain a private club while the main pool on the lower amenity deck appears to flow over the side of the building, presenting an expansive waterfall 'flowing' into the river.

The club, which is optional for residents, has 20 private suites for club guests, a restaurant, private dining, spa with medical treatments set up by a well-known plastic surgeon (Non-invasive only, so not actual plastic surgery), bars, lounges, and glass elevators. Down below, for those residents electing not to join the club, 'regular' residential amenities are just as boffo. Around the pool-that-looks-like-a-waterfall-but-isn't, is a large fitness center managed by The Wright Fit and 'wellness center with treatment rooms' (to differentiate it from the 'medspa' upstairs), a poolside cafe, and children's indoor and outdoor play areas. There will be two triple-height residential lobbies. Finally, the building provides a vault, art storage, automated parking, and valet service for your car and your boat. Just like they do it in Hong Kong, perhaps.

2017 Brings Exciting Changes to One River Point Condo Project

Quote:
Out with the old and in with the new…2017 is bringing about some exciting changes to the luxury pre-construction condo project One River Point including the addition of more elegant residences, entering into contract mode, a new chic sales center, better quality Italian kitchens and an updated construction timeline!
Number of Units

Quote:
32 units were added to the luxe 60-story twin tower development that will be situated along the Miami River in Downtown Miami. Now, the project will consist of a total of 418 condos between the east and west towers. The east tower will offer 224 units that will allow monthly rentals, while the west tower will consist of 194 units that will have a more restrictive rental policy of 6-month minimum rentals, twice a year.
Now In Contract

Quote:
One River Point is no longer in reservation mode…meaning they are in full-blown contract mode with lots of ink hitting paper this week.
New Sales Center

Quote:
The brand-new sales gallery for One River Point will open in approximately a month and will feature a 10-foot replica of the entire project along with full-scale models of the kitchens and bathrooms in One River Point residences. Oh, and we cannot forget to mention that the kitchens will no longer be Snaidero, the developer has decided to use Milian-based B&B Italia, which offers a higher-end design.
Updated Construction Timeline

Quote:
The developers plan to break ground on the One River Point project in the 4th quarter of this year (2017). Completion is estimated for the 1st quarter of 2020.

The water feature, patio, and ground/mezzanine level looks promising but overall this looks like a clunker. Imagine if you lived in one of the units underneath the skybridge.

Sneak peek: One River Point launches $3.5M sales gallery

Quote:
One River Point launches its new sales gallery Wednesday evening, and plans to break ground on the 60-story luxury condominium development by the end of the year.

The twin-tower project at the point of the Miami River, designed by architect Rafael Viñoly, is being developed by Shahab Karmely’s KAR Properties. When completed, it will feature an 85-foot waterfall, a three-story, floating glass skybridge, and a 55th floor, members-only “Sky Club” by Adrian Zecha — with two restaurants, a cigar lounge, wine cellar, screening room, and more.

KAR Properties spent $3.5 million to build out its new two-story, 4,500-square-foot new sales gallery at 90 Northwest Third Street, Andy Penev, project manager for the New York-based developer, told The Real Deal during a tour of the space while workers completed the finishing touches.

[...]

Sales at the 386-unit condo launched in October 2015, and reservations converted to contracts in mid-January. Douglas Elliman is handling sales and marketing. Sabine Otamendi, director of sales for Kar Properties, said sales are currently at more than 10 percent. “Sales have been strong, especially in light of the recent market conditions,” Karmely said in a statement.

Groundbreaking — which had been expected by the end of 2016 — is now pushed back to the end of this year, and the project could take about two years to be completed. Records show KAR paid $27.5 million for the 1.8-acre property in 2013.

Viñoly, the architect behind projects such as 432 Park Avenue and the Curve theater in Leicester, designed One River Point as two towers connected at the summit by the skybridge. A seventh-floor amenity deck will have an infinity-edge pool, lap pool, poolside cafe and restaurant, private cabanas and fitness center.
