I heard that Mercedes bought the land where CAE Machinery / Carmanah Design & Engineering used to be located - Just west of the Knight and Day on Lougheed near Boundary.

According to today's Business In Vancouver, Limited Brands (Victoria's Secret, Victoria Secret Pink, La Senza, Bath & Body Works) is the only retailer currently negotiating to lease the old Robson HMV location. The idea presented would be Victoria's Secret at ground level with the Victoria's Secret Pink on the lower floor. Cadillac Fairview couldn't comment on whether they've signed a lease for Victoria's Secret at Pacific Centre.

As jlousa reported earlier Mexx is closing Pacific Centre which will be the end of this month. I spoke with the manager and their lease was bought out by another American retailer who paid 2 to 3 times the cost of the remaining lease to get into the mall.

with sears closing at least time the canada line is there so that end of the mall won't suffer as much as when eatons shut down

I miss their 75%-off imports sales bin the most. Their full retail prices for imports were almost as bad as HMVs.
