Ok this is weird. All of a sudden I can see posts by Green Bro, even from days ago that I know were not there before.

Temple Square/City Creek Center could act as a northern anchor for Main Street, if we have a southern anchor too. Just as suburban malls have anchor tenants like Nordstrom or Macy's at the ends of each hall containing smaller retail shops, Main Street needs some sort of draw or "anchor" for its southern end, encouraging pedestrian traffic to flow between the two.

Good news story. Even though, I would really like this to get built, I am still concerned about how Port O'Call was destroyed so quickly. However, maybe the demise of Port O'call has led to a resurgence of new establishments on Main Street, which is a better location anyways.

All of a sudden, I'm seeing a Green Bro post posted two days ago. What happened?

I think the local businesses that are burgeoning will act as the " south Main draw" lol.
And does anyone know what the population of Downtown is?

Did the big news post from green bro just barely show up on the page before? I don't remember seeing it! Let's hear it!

I love Waffle House and an MLB team would really be a feather in the SLC cap.

Yes, however, I think Main Street needs something more substantial at it's southern end in order to help our local businesses on Main compete with the chain stores at City Creek Center, and therefore stay afloat.

Hey Green Bro, What is your good news?

Why in the hell where they so adamant about closing and demolishing Port-O-Call if there wasn't any money to actually build the damn courthouse?

I agree. It's like you need to take Trax to get in between classes. A University doesn't need to be in an urban environment, but it's nice when it's all connected. I think part of it is building it up in the foothills which makes it more difficult for connecting it all together in a dense way.

That's so weird. In fact, we all thought you had closed your account for some reason or another, thereby deleting all your posts. Didn't you see the posts about it?
