They are now adding the Letters to the very top. Can't tell at the moment, but it looks like the lettering will not be able to light up.

Top of building is to have flood lights. Lettering is to have back lighting. Info from Project Manager.

Downtown Boise

Video from a few days ago, and already seems old as spire and lettering on 8th&Main Tower have been added.

Thanks. Today as I was on Capitol Boulevard heading into downtown I noticed how nicely the forested slopes of Bogus Basin & Shafer Butte perfectly frame the top of this new tower. Of course a photo will follow from me sometime soon.

Great Photo's Architecture Buff, thanks! It is too bad that the spire is basically invisible from distance, but definitely looking forward to seeing it lit up.

According to the Project Manager it will be flood lighted. They were thinking of a timer for the LED lights on the corner to go on a sequential pace up and down the building, but at this time no and no other colors either(white only).
I love the blue glass, and the whole building stands out from all the brown tones of most of the downtown buildings.

Tonight the spire has lights!

I think I like the simple plan more anyway, too much sequencing of lights gets annoying. And the White on blue glass combo looks beautiful. I think this building is looking great at night
