Opening Day Interior shots (Rotunda and Garden Wing), from the Oklahoman:

courtesy of Pete B

around 80 DVN employees (HR, Security, IT) move into the lower floors on March 19. Waves of people will continue moving-in each week through the summer. Executive team will move in shortly to middle floors until their upper floors are complete in 2013. The top floor restaurant and banquet/observation floors are expected to open to the public in September 2012.

This could be a preview of what the new WTC may look like in the inside. Yes, I know they are two different projects in two different cities, but you never know.

pw405 walked through on his lunch break today. Not the best quality shots from his cell phone, but ... we has been itching for some interior shots!

They had a nutrition demonstration similar to Men's Health "Eat This, not That":

No expense spared on the interior, looks phenomenal! You'll have to go back and take more shots when everything is complete.

Another iconic American city skyline is born.

What I love most about this tower is how, though it is just built and people feared it would make the skyline look lopsided, not only does it not make the skyline look crooked, but it looks like it belongs there, like it's been there all along, just hiding from us. Excellent work, OKC.

Now that is one good looking skyscraper. I'll have to come down there and check it out next year when it is in operation.

you are very welcomed, come visit anytime. Particularly during festivals/events and/or when the OKC Thunder is playing your home team.

I used to live in Denver back in the mid-90's and had a wonderful time. I would say OKC is experiencing some similar growth that the mile high city did during that time. ....

as an OKC expat (and former Denver resident) - I hope you will enjoy your stay.

Wow, this tower is a game changer for not just Oklahoma city, but the entire midwest. A true modern beauty. Now if only we could get something like this in central downtown Detroit...

Excuse me a minute while I pick my jaw up off the floor.

That rotunda is absolutely incredible! Look at all the little details, the pure white inlay floor. Very sci-fi looking. I'm sure its 20 times cooler in person too, as they always are! Many of the employees in the shots look like they are more intrested in the architecture than working. Heck, I'm sure some of them dressed up just to come down and gaze at this work of art!
